Rant At or Rev Up for Action?

When its time to walk against warming, we want to freeze out the baddies but we also want to warm up the good guys, (our companion marchers and curious spectators). So we've got two versions of this cheer - depending on who we're facing..

"Hey coal-heads,
Thats right
We want a corporate criminal fight
Guess what?
Guess what?
You - really - SUCK!"

We're marching here to make thing right

Missy B says yo

Hi y'all on the Sydney Radical Cheerleaders blog. Missy B says a big thanks to Matt for the invitation to post here. A group of us grrls (and boys too) are going to shout ourselves silly and wear short skirts, to show how much we care that our climate is showing the strain after 200 years of industrial mis-treatment. On Nov. 4. (2006) the Walk Against Warming calls for clean and responsible solutions to climate change - they're here, they're now, and we are going to show 'em how... goooo solar!

Whoops got a little carried away there. Anyway, we're developing our cheers, our moves and fresh sparkly new cheerleader personas over the next 2.5 weeks till then. If you want to join in then drop a line in comments, or click on the 2nd yahoo group over in the side bar there. You may notice a little bit of decorating and a few new links too.
